So many of you will know it’s World Mental Health Day today. It’s been all over social media today and I’m so pleased that it seems that finally it is starting to become acceptable to talk about mental health issues. When I finally did and received the help I needed I felt a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I was finally able to move on and this is one of the main reasons I trained to become a counsellor, to help people in similar situations. #worldmentalhealthday2018 ... See MoreSee Less

Did you know that 1 in 10 children between the ages of 5 and 16 have an identifiable mental health condition? The role primary school staff play in a young person's life is incredibly important, but teachers are already stretched, and with so many resources available, it can be difficult to know where to start. That's why we created Mentally Healthy Schools with Place2Be Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families and YoungMinds - to give primary school staff free access to +600 quality assured mental health resources to use in their classrooms.
